Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

Love it
Firstly, very happy with seller - speedy service and a good price. The lawnmower works well and does what I want it to. The build quality is a little on the flimsy side - I managed to break some unimportant bits of plastic after just one use (my fault admittedly!). On the plus side this does make it light and good for smaller jobs where you need to manoeuvre the mower around.

Does the job OK
Bought this after researching and price checking to replace a petrol mower whish was getting too heavy after some medical issues. First off it was almost 40% cheaper than Amazon, I was much surprised and wondered what the catch would be. There wasn`t any catch. Free delivery when they said it would be. Easy assembly and away it goes, great. I only marked it 4 stars for performance and build quality as I have not used it much yet, but so far no problems. I will be using Tooled Up again for sure. Ken Parkinson.
Just used it today for the first time. According to my husband, it cuts through like butter. We needed both chargers to mow both front and back but that’s as expected. I’m really pleased with it as I don’t have to follow the husband and mower around holding the lead anymore. Very impressed with the cordless mower.

Q : I can’t order this without also ordering a charger ? I already have a charger so do not need an additional one, any way I can order mower + 1 battery and not the charger ?
A : Good morning, I am afraid this item can only be purchased as a bare unit or with battery and charger as a kit. The only way you could do it would be to order a bare unit and then add the battery separately.
Q : Where do you plug the charger in?
A : Good morning, You would remove the battery from the mower and place it into the charger to charge.
Q : I have a B & D 36v strimmer,is that battery compatible with this lawnmower?
A : Hi Fiona, assuming it uses a Black & Decker 36v lithium battery you’ll be all good. As far as I know Black & Decker never made any other type of 36v cordless strimmer so I’m pretty much certain it will be. I’m guessing you’ve probably got a GLC3630L20 or a BCSTA532 and both of these use the same batteries as this mower.
Q : Is the mower self propelled or just a push mower. thanks Ken.
A : Hi Ken, this is a push mower. Battery powered self propelled lawnmowers aren't particularly widespread at this stage in time but we do stock a handful of options if you're looking for one. Q : Do I need to buy a battery charger as well as the mower, or can the mower plug straight into a mains supply to charge? Thanks.
A : Hi Martin, you will need a separate battery charger as the batteries cannot be recharged while they are in the machine. If you buy either of the kits that we supply with batteries these will come with a charger included, or if you wish to buy the bare tool and add your own batteries you would need the BDC2A charger as well (product ID 21016568)
Q : what kind of start is it - push button or pulling the string?
A : Hi Cynthia, it is generally only petrol mowers that need to be started with a cord. As the motor on this machine is powered by a battery it has a simple push button start
Q : what is the warranty ?
A : This mower has a two year warranty (for domestic use)
Q : Does this lawnmower have a rear roller?
A : I can confirm that this lawnmower does not have a rear roller.
